This in depth class of Ayurvedic principles and their applications is a hands-on workshop that will expand your practice!
Students will learn the Ayurvedic concept of health and how most disease appear with a detailed discussion of the Doshas and Ayurveda's distinctive concepts of healing.
Specific Ayurvedic therapies and practicum will be provided such as: Shirodhara (warmed herbal oil therapy applied to the third eye area), Nasya (nasal/sinus therapy), Abhyanga (medicated oil massage), Udvartana (herbal paste massage), Pindasweda (herbal bolus therapy) Netrabasti (therapeutic eye bath), and various topical Basti (warm medicated oil applied locally to specific body parts such as knees, chest, lumbar region and neck) and Padabhyanga (stimulating massage of the lower legs and feet).
