Ayurvedic Practitioner Program
The Ayurvedic Practitioner diploma program provides basic principles in Ayurveda, Philosophy, History, Sanskrit, Ayurvedic Anatomy and Physiology. The program focuses on developing skills in the areas of preventive medicine, nutrition, herbology, home remedies, detoxification, rejuvenation, bodywork, and daily/seasonal routine and a basic understanding of common diseases. This program includes a supervised practicum.
Upon completing the Associate in Ayurvedic Medicine program, a student should have certain competencies or learning objectives. The learning objectives of the AAM program are as follows:
- Students will be able to practice self protocols of healing and guide individuals and groups through educational seminars and workshops on the traditional practices and principles of Ayurveda.
- The student will be able to determine the Ayurvedic constitution and take a detailed history of the client’s condition in order to manage and/or refer a client for Ayurveda treatments.
- The student will be able to educate clients on the prevention of imbalances and recommend appropriate dietary, lifestyle, yoga, meditation, health-promoting herbal recommendations, rayanas and recommend simple solutions for common diseases as recommended by Ayurveda.

Hi! My name is Carolina and currently enrolled in my second year in the Associates Degree Program and completed my first year in July 2018 for the Certificate Degree Program. As a student for the past year at Sampoorna College of Ayurveda and Holistic Studies, I can say that it’s made me a better person. This college has been vital to my personal, spiritual, and educational evolution. It has aided me to develop a deep connection to my studies and to my relationship with myself. Sampoorna College of Ayurveda and Holistic Studies has a panel of reputed faculty members with deep knowledge of authentic Ayurveda and spirituality. The faculty is not only very knowledgeable but caring, interactive, and helpful in clearing doubts to lead us to the right path. The knowledge provided at Sampoorna College of Ayurveda and Holistic Studies provides an understanding of the mystic world of Ayurveda, yoga, and life itself. Topics like anatomy, herbology, lifestyle routine, psychology, diet, detoxification, yoga, and spirituality are covered in depth and thoroughly. Apart from academics, the school offers hands-on experience with clinical evaluation and allowing students the ability to incorporate their knowledge with clients. Lastly, the trip to India solidifies the remarkable experience at Sampoorna College of Ayurveda and Holistic Studies. Being in India brings Ayurveda to life and gives the student the opportunity to really live it through mind, body, and soul. India also gives the student the ability to see in color, understand spirit and a unifying love for all human beings.
