Anay Abreu

Anay Abreu is the Director at Sampoorna Ayurvedic College, founder of Yoga Bijam and Vessels of Truth. Anay is an established Ayurvedic Practitioner, Astrologer, experienced Yoga teacher, and energy worker. Anay’s introduction into the healing sciences began 20 years ago with an interest in yoga guiding her to Sylvia Stephenson, yogini, buddhist and her first teacher. This encounter brought her to the Sivananda Ashram in Uttaranchal, India, where she accepted her first certification as a yoga teacher and was introduced to Ayurveda and other healing modalities.

After becoming an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Anay continued traveling to Kerala yearly for training in Panchakarma, Herbology and clinical diagnostics.

She teaches using Indian Astrology (Jyotisha) and Sanskrit. She offers annual Marma workshops and continues to teach Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedanta Philosophy in the U.S and India.

Through her practice, public presentations and collaboration with other Ayurvedic professionals, Anay represents a leading voice promoting the Vedic Sciences.

Grandson of ayurvedic legend Edayadi kunhikannan vaidyar who held the lamp of great wisdom of Ayurvedic Ashtavaidya System. Edayadi Vaidyar (1906-1972) was a follower of Rasasastra paramparya graduated from the Madras University. After BSc. degree in Botony he took his BAMS (Bachelor of ayurveda) degree and master’s degree (MD Ayurveda) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore. Currently he is serving as

Dr. Asha Prapanch is a renowned ayurveda practitioner and ayurveda Professor. She took her BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda) and master’s degree MD Ayurveda from Rajeev Gandhi University of health sciences Bangalore, India. She did many courses in yoga and in ayurveda cosmetology. She started her career as an ayurveda practitioner in 2004 with a goal of spreading the knowledge authentic ayurveda, treating the patients and leading the people to live with ayurveda. She worked as a Panchakarma specialist and hospital in charge in many panchakarma hospitals in India.

(Vaidya) Archana Kulkarni is doctor of Ayurvedic medicine and founder and director of Ayur Wellness center. She has been practicing Ayurvedic medicine over 13 years.

From her childhood she has been always amazed with Ayurveda’s healing power and realized how small changes in diet and lifestyle can make big difference in your life.
She wanted to pursue her career in this natural health care system. She has completed 5 and ½ years of bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery (BAMS) and then got selected for master's education (Masters in Ayurveda) from renowned Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
Yoga is integral part of Ayurveda, She has completed Diploma in Yoga from Yoga Sadhana Kendra, BHU.
After completing her education she worked as lecturer in Ayurvedic medical college and practiced in Ayurvedic Clinic.

She has presented many papers on Ayurveda in different Ayurveda conferences, seminars and magazines.

Her passion to expand and share her knowledge of Ayurveda and Panchakarma she has earned Diploma in therapeutic massage and integrated bodywork from Lehigh valley Healing Arts Academy School, PA USA.

Her approach is to see the client as a whole person and unique individual and truly believes that we all are a part of nature and we need to be in tuned with nature to stay balanced.

Vaidya Raut is an integrative Ayurvedic practitioner, Nutritional consultant and a holistic health educator. She is a third generation Vaidya who is classically trained in Ayurveda from Mumbai University, India.

She has been practicing Ayurveda for more thana decade and has been an integral part of the Ayurveda healing community with a mission towards providing a Holistic Path for Wellness and Optimal Health through Ayurveda and integrative medicine.

She has been presented by the North America award of “Charaka” in recognition of her excellence in Ayurvedic teaching in 2012. She is a “Second degree Reiki healer”.

Vaidya Raut was also awarded a prestigious “Shiromani Award” by Indian Board of Alternative Medicines for her contributions towards the integrative medicine in the industry.

Carolina Ortiz

Carolina Ortiz is an Ayurvedic practitioner and alumni of Sampoorna Ayurvedic College. She is also a registered nurse in South Florida and has been practicing medicine for 7 years with a speciality in Cardiac, Emergency and Outpatient medicine, currently in graduate school pursing a master’s in medical education for nurses.

Carolina is a faculty member at Sampoorna and gets to fulfill her dharma in teaching, “my education obtained at Sampoorna College has been transformational and life changing”. She has participated in intersnships at Aphtasree Ayurvedic Hospital in Kerala receiving training in herbal preparations, panchakarma, and medical diagnostics. Her collaboration and participation in outreach programs to villages at the outskirts of Kerala impacted her at a personal level and allowed her to gain clinical practicum training.

Ayurveda has taught her the path of self awareness and compassion so life can be truly appreciated, also to co exist with one another regardless of race, culture, profession, religion, or social status.

Desi Collazo

Desi Collazo

Desiree Collazo initiated as Swami Shantiananda of the Shiva Kriya Yoga School of Divine Values, licensed massage therapist, esthetician, Ayurvedic consultant and practitioner, Reiki Master and teacher of various ancient and modern modalities of healing. She is the Education Manager for the Miami Campus of Florida College of Natural Health and has held that position since 2008.

Desiree’s interest in Ayurveda began during her education as a massage student in 1998, where she started her self-studies and attended local workshops. She accomplished her Panchakarma apprentice training with Dr. Aparna Bapat in September 2008. In 2009 she traveled to India to further her proficiency in Panchakarma Therapies under the guidance of Drs. Sapna, Rajesh Deven, and team.

On August 2009 she received a Bachelor of Vedic Studies (Ayurveda) from the Sai Ayurvedic College of Miami. Her teaching career began in 2000 in her alma mater as a Clinical Massage and Basic Skincare instructor, and later in the Paramedical Skincare program, which included Ayurveda training.

Desiree has lectured at National Beauty Conferences and has written various courses as an approved CEU provider for the Florida Board of Massage and Board of Cosmetology. She continues to provide CEU seminars for the Spa industry and lectures on the sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Jesus Caballero

Jesus Caballero

Jesus Caballero has been involved in the art of healing and inner development for over 14 years. He got acquainted with Ayurveda when he was trying to find ways to recover from a long-standing illness. Ayurveda was the only method that could bring him back to balance and, from then on, he decided to devote his life to its study and dissemination.

Jesus first completed a correspondence course with Dr. Frawley; it was not long before he decided to move to India, where he studied under Dr. Prayadarshini BAMS, Dr. Kumar BAMS, and Dr. Nagaraj. After returning to the States, he moved to Albuquerque to continue his studies under Dr. Vasant Lad BAMS, director of the Ayurvedic Institute, from where he was awarded certification as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner.

He is also a registered 200-hour yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance, Panchakarma Practitioner, as well as a nationally certified massage therapist, reiki master, and meditation and pranayama instructor. He has also received extensive instruction on Raja Yoga, Yoga Therapeutics, and Vedanta philosophy.

Jesus regularly teaches Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedanta Philosophy, and meditation to yoga students and the public at large.
