The Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) & Vedic Consultant Diploma Program is designed to transmit the foundational knowledge of authentic, traditional Ayurvedic Medicine to a new generation of future practitioners. These graduates will be able to start their own private practices.
At Sampoorna College of Ayurveda & Vedic Studies, you will acquire the skills to practice self-healing techniques and assist others in applying effective, time-honored Ayurvedic practices as found in the original texts.
Your program includes classroom modules, a built-in live observational internship, supervised and independent client internships, monthly seminars, workshops, and foundational case-study discussion practicums to address questions and provide direct coaching.
AHC is a hybrid program designed to provide flexibility, effective pedagogy, and student immersion with faculty through on-campus meetings and online classes.
Students will receive learning materials, including course manuals, study guides, and introductory Sanskrit training. All learning resources are from the standardized original textbooks and treatises used in Ayurveda training colleges and universities across India.
Our curriculum has been revised by Ayurvedic Physicians (Vaidyas) from India with over 20 years of teaching experience.

The National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) recognizes Sampoorna College of Ayurveda & Vedic Studies programs in the US. Sampoorna uses teaching and curriculum that fully comply with the academic standards of the Ayurvedic Accreditation Commission (AAC), the primary programmatic agency for clinically focused Ayurvedic education in the United States.

Sampoorna faculty includes recognized, practicing Indian Ayurvedic physicians whose collective experience of over 40 years in the field ensures that students receive certified hands-on supervision. At Sampoorna College, we base our teaching philosophy on foundational texts of Ayurveda and yoga, including the Aṣṭāṅga Hṛdaya Saṃhitā, the Charaka Saṃhitā, the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali, and Advaita Vedānta. Hybrid programs offer flexible, effective pedagogy, immersing students in on-campus and online classes alongside faculty. Students receive course manuals, study guides, and introductory Sanskrit training.
(6) What are the prerequisites for enrollment?
Sampoorna College of Ayurveda & Vedic Studies offers two levels of Ayurvedic education. All programs require an accredited U.S. high school diploma or equivalent. For both main programs, students must complete an Anatomy & Physiology course by the sixth month. This course can be taken for credit at any local college and transferred to Sampoorna.
(7) Do I need any special requirements to practice Ayurveda?
No prior training or experience is required for enrollment. Students come from diverse backgrounds; while some may have experience in yoga, meditation, or holistic medicine, these are not prerequisites. All skills and knowledge required for success as an Ayurvedic practitioner are covered in the program.

AHC & Vedic Consultant graduates can conduct workshops, teach Ayurveda, and advise on nutrition and lifestyle.
Graduates of the Ayurvedic Practitioner & Vedic Advisor program can pursue positions as Ayurvedic Practitioners, Herbal Advisors, or Vedic Health Consultants. These roles involve advanced practice with herbal formulations and the application of Ayurvedic pathology in wellness planning for clients.
All graduates may work in private practice as Ayurvedic consultants, develop facial and herbal remedies, create wellness product lines, offer coaching, or establish consultation businesses. The training’s strong emphasis on hands-on clinical experience prepares graduates to enter roles that require clinical skills and client interaction.

As a student at Sampoorna, you will be a part of a strong community.
